A FRAMEWORK FOR DEVELOPING A MODEL STRUCTURE OF BUDGET IMPACT ANALYSIS FOR NEW HEALTH CARE INTERVENTIONS IN JORDAN

This paper assesses the impact of substituting clopidogrel with ticagelor to treat patients after an acute attack Ischemic Heart Disease from perspective Jordanian MOH in its tenders, using Budget Impact Analysis (BIA). A multiple regression analysis used estimate elasticities associated implementing two treatments, and then Matlab compare old new treatments. The study recommends gradually substitution treatment because it achieves total cost savings approximately 200,000 dinars, that flexibility costs is less than case treatment, which means increase numbers will lead a lower when treatment.Keywords: Analysis, coronary syndrome, ticagrelor.JEL Classifications: I11, I15, I19DOI: https://doi.org/10.32479/ijefi.10573
